Coldplay Ahmedabad Concert Sets 21st Century Historic Record
Ahmedabad witnessed a historic moment as Coldplay’s concerts at Narendra Modi Stadium became the largest-ever stadium shows of the 21st century. Held on January 25 and 26, 2025, the two-night event saw an astonishing 223,000 attendees, with 111,581 fans on the first night and 111,989 on the second. This milestone surpasses the previous record held by George Strait, who performed to 110,905 fans at Kyle Field in Texas in June 2024.
The second night of the Coldplay Ahmedabad concert also set a new benchmark as India’s largest ticketed concert, attracting an unprecedented 134,000 attendees. This attendance figure shattered prior records set by global icons like Diljit Dosanjh and Justin Bieber, whose Indian concerts drew around 50,000 attendees each.
These record-breaking performances were part of Coldplay’s ongoing Music of the Spheres World Tour, which has already seen massive success across continents. The band’s electrifying setlist, coupled with their signature immersive stage production, left fans in awe, further solidifying their legacy as one of the biggest live acts in history.
